Our First Home!

We dated for about 7 years before getting married in Bountiful Utah. Before moving to Utah in November 2005, we lived in Washington state. I lived there all my life and my wife moved there from California when she was 15.
We moved into our home in February of 2007, one year after getting married. We were excited and nervous, and our house has basically turned out to be a lemon. We have had to replace the garage door, the HVAC system, the water heater, the RO water filter, and the kitchen appliances. We've had to repair the sewer pipe, the garage door opener, a lot of the "cosmetic" crap the previous owners left behind, and the door joining the garage and the house. And we currently have a leak in the ceiling of the garage. Oh joy! Home ownership comes with its risks, I suppose. We love having a place we can make our own, and we love having two great dogs running around. We also like to foster dogs for the 4 Paws Animal Rescue in Willard.
To be honest, I don't like Utah very much. My wife thinks it's pretty cool, though. People think I'm crazy, but I miss the rain and especially the ocean and the green. My wife likes that women here tend to share her same interests like interior decorating and scrapbooking.
I love working with computers and I do a lot of web development work on the side, hence this site.
